Need to gather data from your site – not looking forward to the two-hour roundtrip? Is your jobsite hard-to-reach? Or maybe the event results need to be forwarded to several customers, clients or regulatory agencies simultaneously. The solution may be to establish a permanent or semi-permanent monitoring station that can be downloaded using telemetry.

Instantel provides the features you need to quickly and easily set up remote monitoring stations and networks for obtaining and distributing your data; the standard Instantel® Auto Call Home™, and the optional Instantel InstaLink™ program allows you to automatically collect and distribute your data. Direct communication can be established, dependent on the monitor and feature you are using, by telephone, cellular, GSM, Satellite, or Ethernet.

The Instantel® Auto Call Home™ automated call-in program allows remote access to your monitor and data. Whenever an event occurs, the monitor automatically places a call to your PC and downloads event data into one central location on your hard disk drive.

Once the files are on your computer, Instantel Blastware® software enables automatic distribution of data to a wide variety of devices, such as cellular phones, pagers, PDA’s and PCs. You create "accounts" that specify what information will be sent to which recipients – the entire event file, or selected data for each channel. You can also send different information to different recipients, or choose to time-delay distribution.

The optional Instalink feature is a secure, web-enabled database, and reporting program for viewing data that has been recorded on remotely installed instruments. Once recorded, the data is sent to a computer running Instantel Blastware with an Internet connection for storage. A Forwarding Agent (FA) software application detects the new event data files and sends them over the Internet to the InstaLink server database. Multiple clients may than securely view this event data through the InstaLink interface over the internet.
