WATER LEVEL METERS

Water Level Meters are used for convenient and accurate measurement of elevation of groundwater in boreholes, standpipes and wells. They have a high accuracy, are NIST traceable, don't stretch, have a flat tap and are permanently marked in 1 mm or 1/100 ft graduations. Water Level Meters come with a sturdy winding reel, with a brake and carrying handle. The meter uses a stainless steel probe attached to the flat tape. The probe has an insulating gap between electrodes. When contact is made with water, the circuit is completed, activating a loud buzzer and light. The water level is then determined by taking a reading directly from the tape. Sensitivity controls are standard, which allows the buzzer to be turned off in cascading water, and ensures a clear signal in both high and low conductivity conditions.
